What do you think about this LCD?

I'm looking at this 23" to replace my 20.1" Sceptre display

the requirements is it must have a DVI/HDMI port and have HDCP and also I think 16.7M colors is a 8-bit panel? I know my current one some websites I go to I can see the display not being able to display the colors right.

What about this acer that is a 24"

I've had 15-20" 4x3 LCD's years ago, currently most are 22" widescreen. I recently bought a new 25.5" widescreen. At this point, I'd never buy a new LCD screen with less than 24". Any new LCD should be widescreen IMO. They both look great, though it costs a lot for that extra inch on the Acer. You'll have to decide what your budget can afford.

Good luck!

Get one of these when NewEgg puts it on sale for $299 like they do from time to time.

24" Asus

and yeah my 20.1" is getting a little small since I use it for tv/computer which was why I needed a HDMI/DVI port on the monitor.

That looks great to me. If I were in the market to buy new monitors for my family, it would be in the running.

right now my current monitor has developed lines running down the screen.. it shows more when you have colors like light grey or whatever showing.. it's been like this about two years now and I figured it's time to upgrade anyways.

Just ordered this Samsung 23", its a higher 2048x1152 resolution, no speakers (a +), no camera (a +) slightly better dpi. »www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a···24001317 , the only downside I see is the stand.

I like that 23 inch AOC LCD, it can be my additional option for buying a new one.
Thanks Subaru

Its hard to tell from some of the descriptions, but I personally would make sure the monitor is a matte finish and not glossy. My wife has a 22" Averatec with a glossy finish and she has to keep it pretty dark in her room just to keep the reflections from interfering with what she's looking at.

It's nice but no HDMI and it's a inch smaller
