Unfortunately it's because of the upstream issues, they are starting to fix it with channel bonding and increasing the upstream channels but there is still much work to do.

OMG i laughed so hard when i lol saw that.

Just letting you guys know the over head to have 50 mbit is nearly 2-3 mbit upload, good luck with that lol. Worst Tier ever.

I get 2 Mbps+ upload with DOCSIS 2.0

It is DOCSIS 3 but they have not yet implemented all of changes required to support higher upstream speeds.

I was cool with it until I saw the cap and the extra $$$ to have it...what's the whoe point of this again? Those types of speeds are meant for serious downloading. Which is good if you're home for 6 hours a month...otherwise, Rogers is just ripping off their customer once again.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY FASTER and WAAAAAAAAAAAAY Stupider.

Maybe for the Nimrods that sign up this, remember, this isn't helping the Toronto Blue Jays at all, they are getting ride of Halladay, so think before you sign.
