Pennsylvania Outage

Does anyone know what caused the Pennsylvania outage this morning. I called and they said it could have been out for 24 hours. Thankfully that wasn't the case. I woke up to find no internet around 8:30 and called and got an automated message saying their was an outage for the customers in Pennsylvania. Luckily it came back on around 10:30. A store in town wasn't to happy because they couldn't sell hunting licenses and today was one of their biggest days. At least it is back now. Again, anyone know what caused it?

Don't know, but my service in VA - which has been nearly perfect - has been getting flaky lately with short downtimes to beyond the gateway.
I've no idea if any of these incidents are related, but the word "CenturyTel" keeps flashing in my head

A brush fire in PA caught fire to a CO which damaged several routers and an OC-48.

But yeah must have affected a lot of customers. I'm all the way in Blair county. Just happy they fixed it so fast. Glad they fixed it so fast. I hope things don't change when centurytel takes over.

Yeah, they weren't aware a major fiber chassis was sitting there
