People can bitch about whiny iPhone people all they want. But, AT&T will try to milk money out of us as much as they can.
AT&T will charge an extreme amount for tethering. They already complain that iPhone users use too much data. Can you imagine what it will be with tethering?

Seems like most of the frivolous web activity would already be taking place on the phone itself rather than booting up a computer to do it.
