 | You've got the new 32/5 profile! This is to support 3 HD streams. Do you know how this happened? |

I guess it's not going to be used to give any extra internet bandwidth, though, huh? Kinda sucks.. I'm tempted to drop back down to 12Mbps/1.5Mbps since you get a better deal. |

I guess it's not going to be used to give any extra internet bandwidth, though, huh? That remains to be seen. They've bumped the upload all the way to 5 which isn't needed for TV, so that suggests they intend to do something with the internet product. But with AT&T you never know. -- AT&T U-Hearse Your funeral. Delivered.

 | How did that happen? I thought the max for Uverse was 25. Is ATT doing something different or perfect line bonding finally? |

My max rate is 58kbs down, and unknown for the up. I would not mind a 32/5 sync and a 18/3 internet tier in the future. But thats wishful thinking.
And isn't the max down/up on VDSL 52/16? |

Is there any way to guesstimate your distance from the VRAD based on the MDC results? I've always been curious where I fit when people post those distance-to-speed graphs.

Check post 16 and I am not the Chris he refers to.

 | reply to Bell System How did you pull the 32/5 profile? Was it automatically sent to your RG or did you have to reboot your RG or did you call and get it pushed? |

As others have said, I heard this sync profile will enable the 3hd/1sd stream rate...but I also imagine if one had the 12 or 18 meg inet pkg, it would give more overhead when hd streams are in use. There may even be a "bigger" inet pkg coming. (I dont know, just guessin) Not sure how itll be ultimately utilized, but it sure is exciting to see positive changes. Now for VDSL2/+ and/or pairbonding... |

| reply to Kylan Is there any way to guesstimate your distance from the VRAD based on the MDC results? One tech over at Uverseusers suggested taking the attenuation figure and multiply by 80 to give you an estimate. The result is about right in my case. -- AT&T U-Hearse Your funeral. Delivered.
