Connecting Wireless Camera

Hi guys got a new 2wire modem/router here on AT&T and just bought a D-link DCS-920 wireless camera its all set up and works fine when plugged in and its all set up wirelessly to but when I unplug it it looks to get a connection via a green light flashing but then turns red. I have called D-link and they have told me its the security on the 2wire and needs to be turned off I really need an answer today and they are not open can anyone help me? I've even put the camera into a DMZ but no go.

And by security I dont mean WPA because they it is all set up its a different security mechanism.

I've had a look at the manual and the 920 seems to have 2 methods for setting up wireless , WPS and manual. My guess is that the WPS method requires no security to be set on the router. Use the manual setup as on page 21 of the manual , make sure you get the security mode set the same as your router ( e.g WEP or WPA ) and that the security key is the same as your router one. Then it should work, the 920 does seem to be able to support WEP and WPA but its setup is a little confusing.
