Am i misreading the 15 mbps?

I had thought that standard service nationwide was 10 megs down, but maybe I am wrong. And Turbo is generally 15 megs down. I would say that you are misreading the information.

They are not going to publish what you might see with Powerboost. Generally with my standard 10 meg service, I may test up to 21-22 mbps max with Powerboost. It usually maxes out at 15-17 megs , however. I think that those on Turbo may see 5 or 7 megs higher when speedtesting. I still view Powerboost as a gimmick that we can live without. What we really need where I live is better upload and so far RR is not budging on that.

Racerbob posted : Caps have not been instituted anywhere ... yet.. on Roadrunner service.

With the 10mb plan with Powerboost, you should expect a brief period of time initially during a download where you may see a little more speed before it levels back off to whatever the normal speed for that download is...depending on internet conditions and the server that you are downloading from.
