1 edit | UseNetServer Special - $95/Year - Unlimited Access
It looks like UseNetServer decided to answer Astraweb's annual special: »accounts.usenetserver.com/agoodyear/
The offer is for their High-Speed Plus plan - ~320 days retention, 20 connections, SSL, global search, etc. The same plan they are offering for $10 a month.
I would personally rather pay $10-$11 a month for Astraweb or UNS rather than $8 a month on an annual contract. None the less the prices keep getting lower |

1 edit | reply to NewsgroupRev Usenetserver let alot of us down in the past, so it becomes a matter of trust with me. However, I do realize that they are no longer using their old servers in Atlanta. Newshosting Unlimited and UNS, from what I can tell are now the same service.
Edit: Same service in servers, prices and number of connections are not the same. |

| There is no replacement for experience. Since UNS let folks here down in the past they will have to work that much harder in trying to regain that trust. I think UNS offering a free trial and competitive specials could help if the service levels are high. As you mention their servers are no longer in Atlanta. My testing of UNS netted positive results but the real test will be from customers over time.

| reply to NewsgroupRev Like them or not Highwinds is a major player and unless they are wanting to go more to transporting rather than provider they must offer dependable service. I have used their new reseller's server and found it to be (when I was testing) as good as GN or Astra. |

This sounds like a good deal, but rogers caps me to 60gb. Not really worth it =( |
