[wii] NTSC Wii on PAL T.V.?

I'll be traveling to a country that uses PAL and was hoping to take my U.S. bought Wii. I know that I'll need a 220/110 converter, but I was wondering about the different T.V. formats. I know newer t.v.'s can do both PAL and NTSC, but all the t.v.'s I'll have access to are extremely old, and thus unlikely to work with NTSC.

Is there any other way to run an NTSC console on a older PAL t.v.?
