| SBV5222 keeps rebooting
I recently got this new modem from my cable company (Time Warner Cable, upstate New York) and it is doing the same as my old modem, which start about 1 week ago, rebooting. There is no specific time that is does it. Just happens. Nothing has changed as to wiring.
Signal strengths when it does reboot:

Power Level: 0dBmV (Appears to be locked at this value)

No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out (Appears 15 times in a row, after 15th one, the modem reboots)
Everything I have read, leads me to think that there is a problem with the main cable line (do have a tech coming this week to check things out). When I am not having problems then the readings above all seem to be fine. Not sure what to think of this issue. Any help you could give me that I could relay to the tech when he comes would be great. |

Poway, CA | The upstream power level is too high, and the T3 errors could indicate noise (probably upstream) on your connection. The tech should be able to make the necessary measurements to determine what is causing the problem(s). |

Tech was out today and replaced all ends on my cables. They were in bad shape. Levels all dropped. Hope this takes care of the problem. |
