<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1657846"><b>tazman911</b></A> : I recently got this new modem from my cable company (Time Warner Cable, upstate New York) and it is doing the same as my old modem, which start about 1 week ago, rebooting.  There is no specific time that is does it.  Just happens.  Nothing has changed as to wiring.  <br><br>Signal strengths when it does reboot:<br><br>DOWNSTREAM<br><br>Frequency:  609000000 Hz<br>S/R:  38dB<br>Downstream Modulation:  QAM 256<br>Network Access Control Object:  ON<br>Power Level:  0dBmV (Appears to be locked at this value)<br><br>UPSTREAM<br><br>ChannelID:  1<br>Frequency:  31008000 Hz<br>Ranging Service ID:  2228<br>Symbol Rate:  2.560 Msym/s<br>Power Level:  55dBmV<br><br>SIGNAL STATS<br><br>Total Unerrored Codewords 465842392 <br>Total Correctable Codewords 679 <br>Total Uncorrectable Codewords 7900 <br><br>LOG FILE<br><br> No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out (Appears 15 times in a row, after 15th one, the modem reboots)<br><br>Everything I have read, leads me to think that there is a problem with the main cable line (do have a tech coming this week to check things out).  When I am not having problems then the readings above all seem to be fine.  Not sure what to think of this issue.  Any help you could give me that I could relay to the tech when he comes would be great.]]></description>
