How do I get to my INTERNET account and usage stats?

It's been a while, and they seem to have "changed" a few things.

No matter what paths I try
eg: Telus main page, Internet, My account
or even following various internal links on pages, they all lead
me to
»www.telus.com/customermgt/yourAccounts.do

Where it lists:

- Billing
Account # Billing address Amount owing $
(acct.number) (my.address) ($0.00) link more accounts

- Products and services
Phone line (604-xxx-xxxx) View details / modify

The only "billing" account is my phone line.
I can't "link more accounts", because it doesn't like the
Internet account # as the PIN, or the account # itself if
I try shortening the account # to 4 digits in the PIN field.

Clicking "help" (top right), then "Installing/troubleshooting
High Speed Internet", then "How will I know when I have reached
my monthly limit?" shows:

Also, you can check your usage online by logging in to YOUR ACCOUNT
(linked to »www.telus.com/unprotected/login.do).
Under "Your products (for all accounts)," click on the "View details
/ modify" link next to TELUS High Speed. On the next page, there will
be a "View usage" link in the upper right corner. Click on it to view
a detailed report of your Internet usage.

This time around, that links to »www.telus.com/cgi-ebs/jsp/homepage.jsp
Over by "Your account", the drop-down lists "Internet services account".
Yay!.... not.
It just leads back to:
with only the PHONE account listed.

Help!!!!!!!!

Log into your account. click on View details / modify, under Internet, then look next to Summary, should have a usage button.

But, mine never lists any usage. Telus is so screwed up they cant even provide my stats for the past 6 months.

This is a known problem with telus' ADSL2+ ports - monitoring currently does not function correctly for them. You should take this as a blessing in disguise; it means that, until it's fixed, telus appears to not be hitting users for overusage on ports where bandwidth usage tracking is not working correctly.

As I said, there's no Internet listed. Here's a screen cap...

pm me your number, name and how to contact you..
If your account was migrated through to the new billing system.. and your internet account was billed to a credit card or bank account you may technically have 2 separate accounts.

I've never actually seen an account billed for usage beyond the limits (60Gb in most cases IIRC).
Has anyone ever actually been billed for going beyond the limits on a DSL acct with Telus?

Also, if you have TTV, there is currently no cap on usage (unofficially) as the TTV signal runs through the network connection.

Billing dept can see some levels of usage (listed per day up/down) and it would require some calculation.

Lastly, do you need to determine your usage or are you just curious? I am curious as to why you would want to see it (unless you have rec'd the "You've gone past your limits too much" notification).

Apparently. On Friday, I got the expected e-mail "Your monthly TELUS e.Bill is ready", but it had the wrong account number. Started with 300 instead of 224. Then on Sunday, I got *another* message, with the old 224 number.

I figured I'd try logging into the Billing section again, and this time it let me "link" the 300 number, and *bingo*, there's my Internet account.

Of course, with the wonderful Telus system, I then received 2 more messages, #1 saying the 300 account had been removed from my profile (I didn't remove anything) and I no longer have access to it, and #2 (2 seconds later) saying the 300 account is now linked to my profile, and I CAN access it. Sheesh... make up your little electronic mind!

Just curious, but I'm not yellow, nor am I named George.

see my above post for a partial explanation... The 3000 account number is exactly how it would show for your internet account..
I can clear it up and merge the two if you'd like.

No, that's okay. As long as I have a way to track where my money's going beyond just waiting for the account to go "ploink" every month, I'm happy. Thanks anyway
