| Which release of Tomato MLPPP firmware are you using?
I was using the last stable build of 1.19 but I just went to the "alpha" release of v1.21-mp3alpha4
On 1.19 my speed tests were kinda slow (even though the modem is connecting at 5056/800), I would get around 3500-3900 down and 400 up,
with the new build I am getting 4100-4300 / 640-670 (testing on chi.speakeasy.net) |

| mp2 definitely had sub-optimal performance, in a variety of ways. There is a known issue with mp3alpha4 (that can lead to extraneous disconnections), but it can be fixed with a settings change:
»Disconnection issues with Tomato/MLPPP? Try this.
We will of course fix this in the next alpha release (which should be mp3alpha6). It's on hold for Otakuthon-related work, though. |
