wait, so the info from my 2000 taxes is what they are going by? not last year? this is GREAT news!! $75,000 is alot of money (and well deserved, i mean, if the auto dealerships in the area can get all this cash and beautify their lots and remodel, then why can't i get a nice stack of cash?). I can pay off my car and go shopping for a condo, to stimulate my own little economy.

do they have my bank account info from 2000 too?

Now that's a good point Sandy's, ( if that's her real name, but I doubt that) email address should be something like SCrawford@irs.gov and not sandy.crawford@boa-online.us

Naive Internet users will still fall for this type of scam, and not realize that if a email is coming from the Internal Revenue Service the emails should end with @irs.gov

HA! After getting approved for a mortgage I got a phone call today from "Unknown" on my caller I.D. stating everything there.

Go figure.
