Re: Why Bother They specifically mention this is for the LIRR and MNR, not the subways. That said, not everyone wants to pay for unlimited data through cell networks. Of the people that do, even fewer are able to tether their laptop. In addition, I wouldn't be surprised if the cell companies start metering the data usage - there is no way they will allow people to use unlimited data once the networks get further utilized for more bandwidth heavy applications. |
