DUH...we graddauated frum a purty good sekurty program

Why does a friggen temp have access to confidential employee data in the first place? I don't suppose AT&T has ever heard of security or a privilege log.

No shet. At my workplace, I never give any temp access to our confidential data let alone network drives that have any information. Just their own private drive, email, and internet access (strictly monitored).

GJ AT&T!

I worked as a temp, and had access to components worth several thousands of dollars. Depends on the nature of the job responsibilities.

The really intriguing thing is that the company which owned those components had terminated me for cause (attendance) a couple of years earlier. They owned the facility, and the contents, but contracted labor to a third party, which, in turn, hired temps to meet their facility staffing requirements.

BTW, most temps I've known have been at least as honorable as their regular hire counterparts.

(Oh, and that third party contractor was even stricter about attendance than the company that canned me; but I had learned my lesson!)
