Default Siemens Wep key

well i think my siemens is dead. i cant get it to connect wired to my computer. wont go to 192.168.1.254

i have reset it and it is broadcasting a wirelss signal. anyone know what the defult wireless key is?

I don't understand by what you mean? For WEP are you referring to the SSID key which is GigasetE55 or the password for the modem. When you setup the SE567 there is not encryption for the wireless and the default password is telus. This is the worst modem ever made and I ended having to purchase my own cause it's so bad. If you're resetting constantly cause you're wireless is locking don't bother calling telus just buy a cheap 54g wireless router it will save you time.

Let me clarify my comments: If you're broadcast SSID is GigaSetExx (xx=what ever numbers show up) then the wireless password is nothing as it's default is open wireless. If you log into the Router you'll need to use the password "telus" w/o quotes to get in. With this router you need to connect to the ports 1-3, as 4 is the WAN port.
