| [HD] New Competition in Union County NJ
On my way to the gym this morning, literally 2 blocks away from my house in rahway, i saw 3 optimum trucks putting in lines (opt. voice, opt online, and opt tv). For some reason that got me really excited to think that they could be coming to my area in linden. Hopefully they do and their 100 hd channels will come along too. I have come to not want fios anymore and just need a comcast alternative...cant have a dish in my apart. |

cablevision is more evil than comcast IMO, but gives better HD TV. |

well cablevision is in elizabeth but im more on the clark/rahway side of linden. Your right that comcast is evil but you know with them you get what you pay for instead of pay for and not get with comcast |

It's not for TV, it's for the Optimum commercial/business phone product which they can offer in areas other than their franchises. Also, they run cables through Comcast areas to connect their own areas. |

Well I hope they do bring io to us. I know so many people with fios that hate it. Parents have io and with every channel including premiums and triple play pay just as much as I do with only cable with comcast |

Also, unlike IO, you would not have to pay extra for the premium On Demands. IO charges $5.95 a month per premium to add On Demand. |
