Will WWOR news ever go HD?

I was just wondering if WWOR has any plans to upgrade their newscasts to HD? Or will the recent moves at the network such as, cutting weekend newscasts and shortening the 10pm newscast to a half hour and moving it to 11, make it a longshot?

wwor is one of the last low budget networks on the dial of 2-13.
they are what fox5 used to be years ago when it was wnew.
wnyw fox 5 should really just sell off wwor and dump it.
the only time wwor was great was when howard stern used to have his shows there (when howard stern was great too).
anyone remember channel 67 on the UHF band ?
what was that, bill the puppeteer or something ?
then it turned into a 24 hour music video channel, then into WWHT pay channel. (i might have the order of events mixed up, its been so long)
i remember how easy it was to descramble WHT back then.
although the movies sucked, it was commercial free and better than anything available over a roof antenna.
as a matter of fact, i dont seem to recall ever seeing anything on wwor in HD.

Ahhh good old channel 9.

Who can forget ... Lloyd Lindsay Young?
Or the Richard Bey show?

Wasn't The Morton Downey Jr. Show filmed there as well?

Just read on AVS Forum, that WWOR's newscast will probably go HD next year.
