Well, government regulation or lack there of.. the monopoly / duopoly really gets to run the show with the consumer twisting in the wind! It's time for government to take of the reigns and legislate good service offerings or open the market up to REAL competition. There's no reason why 2 companies cover a majority of Canada footprint with the rest left hanging with the USA equivilent of QWEST.
