SGRPremium join:2003-05-19 Lutherville Timonium, MD | [DVR] DVR's don't recognize New & Repeats I'm in Baltimore County, MD. Just recently all the Comcast DVR's in my home started recording all episodes, new and repeats, even when I told them specifically to only record new episodes. Considering this happens on all boxes I'm guessing it's an issue with Comcast's guide info on their end. It appears as if they deleted the tag that tells the DVR whether a show is new or a repeat. They also added dates under show info so perhaps they accidentally deleted the repeat tag while doing so?
Anyone else experiencing this? Is it worth calling Comcast and trying to get it escalated to someone who can actually fix it? |

I don't remember where it ended up, but enough people were discussing it that there is no doubt that it in the process of being resolved. Do a search on various websites that host cable television discussions and you should find the update you need, if someone who has been following the issue more closely doesn't post soon. |
