Re: [DVR] DVR recording every show said by usa2k:I see it with "Bones", and I see that it does not happen with "Warehouse 13" (worked correctly) which I noted came on a second time, and claimed "new" in the description, but did not duplicate the episode on the DVR. If a series program is tagged again as NEW, but there is a recording of that episode on disk, then it will not re-record it. That is the closest it comes to Tivo's 30-day rule. Once you delete that recording, it will re-record it if it's tagged as NEW.
I'm not certain how it handles untagged programs. Since they are often treated as NEW, it may work the same way. |

EDIT: Actually, thinking about it I do not think I've had two identical episode picked up. So its mostly Bones and various Law & Order episodes for me. |
