If you're unfamiliar with the network in this city, the old Sprint wired it to hell and back with fiber. So unless Embarq starts throwing up RTs to improve coverage, the majority will remain without. I had hoped CenturyLink would be a great competitor to Cox, but based on Karl's statement that their next generation broadband is "ADSL2", my hope was just a fallacy.
It just goes to show that rural providers should be confined to rural areas. |
