There are also weird locations where putting in an address across the street could put you in another CO. Yeah, in a city it's probably all zero-mile so the price is correct, but accuracy is a good thing.

A building I sometimes work in is served by two different COs. Quite amusing.

Long ago a company I worked for had a customer that needed a T1 from one building to another across the street in Brooklyn. The damn T1 had to go from one CO to another. We sold them wireless hardware instead. :)

Using telcodata clarifies whether it is a CLEC number or not + shows the rate center. My strategy works just fine - especially if one doesn't have fancy tools like professional telecom agents. I guess I am an unprofessional :)

Also - you are agreeing with me because you "don't trust what the customer will tell me". I just think it is silly that every time someone requests a quote here without an NPA NXX - which was what my post was about - so called professional telecom agents responding to the request always ask for an NPA NXX.
