This was given away once before along with the nag workaround.
You are harassed after nearly every use of the program to "upgrade for $59.99" unless you remove the nag screen. See below.
Procedure to remove nag screen:
1. After installing, open the following file in Notepad:
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro X\PCUUI\Container.htm
2. Erase all the text, replace it with the following code:

3. Save the file.

| Let me know if that works. I had it installed once before and took care of the nag. I cant remember if that took care of it or if there was something different. I do know for sure that it has to do with that file.

| I guess I missed the fact that it installed to the C drive. It asked me where I wanted to install PSP after the initial download and I just assumed it would put it in my D drive like I asked it to.
Be that as it may, there is still no way to alter that "Container" thingie as it is a link to a web site that comes up dead when You click it.

1 edit | The link was correct, except for the fact that you cant copy in the 1. 2. 3.. I deleted those enumerators and the script error is gone. It (PSP) closes now with no nag and there is no script error. Thanks for the help.

I still use version 7. I heard the newer ones were slower. Since one of my PCs is 450 MHz, speed is a concern. |
