anon posted : I live in Middle Georgia. I just moved across town, and the only thing in my area is charter high speed internet. Previously I had bellsouth/att and I had little to no problems with my router (DLINK WBR-2310). I could login to it, and xbox live ran smoothly.

Charter gave me a Motorola Surfboard Modem (SB5101).The modem has 1 usb and 1 ethernet slot. I have the modem wired via the usb to the computer, and the router connected to the modem by ethernet.

-----
First off, I can't login to the router to do anything. The login address is 192.168.0.1 but nothing ever comes up, and I've tried power cycling everything but no luck.

Even without logging in, I dropped a line from my router to my xbox 360 and at first it worked fine. Lately though, it's been pretty crappy. The connection from the router is hit or miss. Sometimes the Xbox will give me DNS server errors, other times it will say my MTU is too low, and other times it will work fine.

Help me please.

Daniel Reedy
