has anyone tried out any of the IMAX theaters in the D/FW area. I was wanting to know if it is worth going & watching a movie at one or if it would be a waste of money. I have watched a science show at the Ft. Worth Science Museum & it was pretty cool. If any of you have watched one which one would you recommend.

The Cinemark in Dallas at I-635 and Webb Chapel Road is a traditional flat IMAX screen. It's only a couple bucks more expensive to see a movie there than in the regular megabox theaters next door.

The Ft Worth Museum and the Fair Park Science Museum are both curved Omni screens.

I saw Star Trek at the Webb Chapel IMAX & it was awesome. I agree - the Omni is really a cool theater, too.
