Thanks DCurrey... I did some digging on the SIPBroker.com site and they suggested pretty much the same thing. They even claim if you pass a number to @sipbroker.com and it does not pass the number should go out via your VoIP service. I haven't played much with it, but if that's the case then the dialplan would be fine.
Also, for those that don't mind long dial strings, if you have family/friends outside your local calling area, SIPBroker has many local numbers that can be dialed and then *5071NxxNxxxxx should put them on your VT service. I haven't tested this out so there may be some exceptions, but these days, cost savings are welcomed where ever they show up. |
