I have to make sure I never press the "On Demand" button on the remote lest I wait a few minutes before I can change the channel. Ugh. DirecTV VoD menu navigation is quick. Of course, I am limited by my DSL 3 Mb/s speed, so I just set the DVR to catch the shows, and view them at my convenience.
