matt_d posted : So, after a lot of pain, here's the answers..

There are two documents to reference; neither are present on the Netopia site, they are linked off of the motorola pages.

This first one tells you how to setup the unit assuming your are using NAT; but it also contains the AT&T specific configuration parameters:
»broadband.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/b···ndefined

This second one:
»broadband.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/b···46289049

.. will apply to you if you use sticky IPs; it describes the differences. Generally, I'd suggest you read the first one, and if you have sticky IPs, read the second one. Hope this helps.

- Matt

daveinpoway posted : OK. Sorry, I can't be of much help here. I have a Netopia 3346N-002 set up for AT&T, but that uses the consumer (not Enterprise) firmware, and I do not have any static IP addresses.

I can tell you that on the 3346N-002, many of the WAN options were fine at the factory-defaults settings. Not sure how this applies to the 3347-ENT, however.

matt_d posted : That's not the issue. I understand the menus; I don't understand some of the configuration parameters for AT&T -- this unit has far more options than the 3546 it it is replacing.
matt_d posted : Hello, I just purchased a 3347 to replace my old Cayman/netopia 3546.

I have an R910 router as well, so I'm familiar with the telnet interface, but I sure can't figure out the ADSL configuration -- the basic stuff I know, but some of the more discrete options, I don't have a clue...

I have the pro service with 5 sticky IPs. I pretty much use the 3546 as nothing more than a router, I have NAT switched off on it.

So, I'm going to beg forgiveness here, and hope someone out there is willing to help someone in the old Pac Bell world in san jose -- if anyone has step by step to configure this thing (walking through the easy setup screens) it would be most appreciated.

Thx, Matt.
