So are most of the problems due to the poor guide data quality (mentioned in the first post)?
I've noticed in the past few weeks a maddening number of repeats that aren't flagged either way and thus are scheduled to record. I've had to give up on multiple series recordings and just schedule things by hand.
I too would like to echo the request for a "New Only" recording type, that only records programs flagged as new, and doesn't even bother with programs that aren't flagged.
