| Slow laptop connection
I have a Dell Inspiron 1200 Windows XP using a Dell Wireless 1350 PC card in conjunction with a Linksys WRT54G. (all have current drivers)
Recently my speed on the laptop has got extremely slow. It will start of at 54 Mpbs but eventually ends up at just 1 Mpbs.
I changed channels that seems to help but only for a short time.
The Dell Utility shows strong strength (54) but the Network icon on the bottom right will show 1 Mpbs (see attachment).
Any help will be appreciated to spend up my connection.
Note: Laptop is sometimes no further than 3 to 4 feet from router. |
