Yeah, I left it on a PC just to see what would happen. It's still updating fine.

Either: there's a buffer period for "last minute" people to change and it won't actually stop working for a month or two, OR, by continuing to use it Yahoo/Norton is continuing to bill Rogers for the service. I like this option.

Nepean, ON		 Usually Symantec anti-virus subscriptions last a year or two. I'm not sure how it's packaged for Rogers but it could be that the license activates when you install.
