AT&T DSL is Junk, or at least their support is!

My DSL hasn't worked right for months. It disconnects/reconnects every hour or 2. It loses it's DSL light. During peak hours (nights 9-11:30pm and weekend afternoon/evenings) it can go for up to 2 hours connecting/disconnecting every couple of minutes. When it's connected it has no DNS during these really bad periods. I bought a new dsl modem, new wires, I only have 1 phone in the house and it does it when that isn't plugged in. 3 times AT&T has promised a technician visit. Then a couple days later I get a robot call saying "We have tested your lines and see that you are now connected. Your technician visit has been cancled". I can only get them to do the technician visit after a 45min call to India. They make me reboot my compuer and check the wire connections and a lot of other worthless stuff each time. They don't even know what a DSL light is In 3 days I get my Comcast. At least Comcast works. I switched to AT&T trying to save a few bucks. Never again. I'm dumping their cell phone, landline, dsl, and TV..
