Just downloaded the new firmware and upgraded my router, hope this keeps me from having to reboot it every few days or so because my connection no longer works.

the 1.32 firmware update is the EXACT same thing as the 1.32build03.

Instead of the beta folder, they put it in the main site itself. you should see the dlink forums. its pretty handy.

According to the host, they are still working on the shareport issue. but this firmware is much more stable. so far 3 days. (almost 4) and no crash.

To the smart ass comments about beta what i MEAN is that its no longer labeled BETA which is what Arucard wanted to know. If it still has issues is another story.

Yep, same date in this new firmware, 2009/07/09.

Riftmuf:
Lighten up bro, we know what you meant. lol What we meant is there is no such thing as a non-beta when it comes to dstink, going by their track record in the forums. So, take it as the joke it was meant to be (and that dstink is!). hehe

Actually - it's not..

I just ran a binary comparison on the 1.32b03 vs. the 1.32NA ".bin" files - they're 2 totally different files..

Aha, just to add to the confusion! So for once, latest is latest. Cool (so far!).

I never sticky threads with misspellings in the titles.

Indeed, frimware, is that some kind of plastic?

I don't think the OP would mind if you corrected his honest mistake!

Say: DIR-655 NEW Firmware 1.32 Released?

That was tongue-in-cheek. My genuine concern is this: If we make a sticky for every firmware release, even by product line, you'd have to scroll three pages to see the first non-sticky post.

If we make a "Put all your frimwares here" thread, it would be a train wreck with various versions and products mixed together.

I'm open to suggestions on this.

^Maybe a time limit of the sticky thread? 30 days?
