More importantly, these companies put themselves in near monopolistic positions. They try very hard to stamp out any competition, so they have a moral responsibility to their customers since their customers often have nowhere else to go.
Regardless, don't blame the man for being able to convince others that his time is worth that much. Him as well as other CEO's were chosen to make money for the shareholders and is exactly what they are doing. I really doubt that they were chosen to sattisfy the consumer. Is not their fault that their strategies work.
