I have no issues in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. I always get five bars of service, no dropped calls, and the data service is great. Yes, the data service is a bit slow but way more adequate for what I use my iPhone for.
Consider yourself lucky. I wish I had 3G coverage, or even just decent EDGE service.
