1 edit | [CATV] CCI byte is set to 0x03 Copy Never
I'm in Phoenix AZ. I have a tivo series3 with two cable cards. A number of shows on Cox HD channels are being set with the wrong CCI byte. CCI 0x03 is for PPV.
I want to know if someone knows who to contact about this, not having much luck with Cox support.
Thanks |

@cox.net | Have you tried rescanning the Tivo? I know Cox is shifting around channels currently where I am. Once I rescanned my free local HD came in again. |

I don't see anything set at 0x03, But a lot at 0x02 Mostly new shows. Before the last seasons ended it was newer prime time shows. Like CSI, House, Numbers.
Lately it's been Deadliest Catch. Sometimes it's only the first showing on Tuesdays that is 0x03. Two weeks ago it was the two showings on Tue, and one of them on Thur. The 2nd showing on Thursday finally kept.
I have a Cox HD DVR that records them just fine. It I look in the Tivo recording history it shows those shows as having been deleted due to restrictions set by the copyright owner. Those restrictions, 0x03, are being set at the Cox headend. |
