 Looking for a USB adaptor...

Is there a USB to Wifi adapter that can act like a USB extender over Wifi?

Looking to use a USB printer or a USB memory stick in one room and have it connect to a PC or Mac through the Wifi... This require a driver/software on the PC/Mac side but will avoid having to connect anything to the PC or Mac and use the existing internal Wifi radio.

Do you think I am daydreaming or is there something out there? Oh and it has to be anything but Dlink... I hate them and I wish to avoid the subject in this thread.

It's better to get a printer with wifi / cat5 build in.

And what do I do with my existing laser printer?

Really, Joe is correct - that would be the most elegant (and expensive) solution. But if you don't mind spending a small chunk of money on an accessory, Doc's plan works as well.

*resists asking about Dlink*

A wireless print server is all that's needed.

2nd vote for a wireless print server module. I'm sure there are USB ones out there.
