Contract Transfer

wild_sky : We had a wireless internet company come to town, and we are ditching HughesNet. We still have 18 months left on our contract, so we were looking for someone to take it over. We thought we had found someone and was getting everything in order. Well, the person who was going to take it said they called Hughes and was told that they couldn't use our satellite. (It's less than a year old.) I was wondering if this was true? Has anyone gone through a transfer of contract before? We thought all that had to be done was sign the little transfer paper, give the new person our equipment, and they would just have to have someone come point the dish. Is that not how it works?

I am at work, but will check in as often as possible.
--
Win XPpro, IE6.0(SP2), Direcway 4000, ver. 4.2.1.10, SatMex5/1230, signal: 80-85, 2 clients
