[DSL] Two different modems, same DSL line, different test result

I have a new ATT DSL line (that appears to work fine) and I tested the line quality with two different modems.

One modem consistently has a 23% loss (failure) and the other consistently has only 4% loss (warning - not failure) - so it appears that it's not the line thats at fault - it's the modem?

Here are the results:

ZyXEL Prestige 643 (4% loss)
»/lineq ··· /2546413

Netopia Model 3347WG (23% loss)
»/lineq ··· /2546400

Any ideas, comments?

Thanks,

ZyXEL Prestige 643 (4% loss)
»/lineq ··· /2546413
your first hop ping
stream of 40byte pings to 65.14.253.62
52% loss 38.0ms
You are 21ms to your first hop

Really need to see your DSL Line Stats. Attenuation, SNR and Sync Rates. It looks like there is another problem and comparing your first hop data shows that both of the Modems see the same issue.
