Embarq firmware for 2wire 2700HG-B

Hey all,

I recently bricked my router I had been using to connect to the internet. (had modem in bridge mode). I purchased a 2wire 2700HG-B off ebay (branded control panel for sbc).

Anyway I'm wondering if anyone would know where I could perhaps acquire the firmware on the 2ware modems that Embarq sends out?

I'm not sure if I will gain many if any at all benefits by using the Embarq firmware but would feel more comfortable with it on there.
