Council Bluffs, IA | The crippling continues... People complain(ed) when Verizon cripples their phones but there has yet to be a huge uprising against Apple/at&t for this. Though a company like Google could create a huge stink because this seems more like an at&t decision and not an Apple decision. Considering Google/Apple have a mostly love/little hate now relationship (Chrome OS). Flex some muscle Google. |

| Because if works, it works and can go in your phone. And BB phones and Windows you can install any good or crappy app that is coded for the phone. Is your choice. With the IPhone is ultimately Apples choice. |

AT&T can't block the BlackBerry one.. it doesn't have exclusivity with RIM like it does with Apple. BlackBerry can tell AT&T to go pound sand and there isn't squat AT&T could do.... whereas AT&T has muscle over Apple.

You can easily unlock your phones that the other carriers provide. I unlocked my Nokia that I bought at T-Mobile. All you need it the USB cable and free software to do it.
Not that easy with the iPhone.
