So far so good

I've been with VM for a few years with no problems. Even at $15 every 3 months for the prepaid, I have a sizable balance on my account because I really don't use it too much.

It's $20 every 3 months to keep your service active.

But yes - the wife and me both find this makes much more sense for us than a traditional cell phone plan.

You're both right.

It's $15 every 90 days if you use auto Top-up.

It's $20 every 90 days if you do not sign up for auto Top-up.

I've been a Virgin Mobile customer so long that $20 for Auto topoff was the charge. Never got around to looking if something cheaper was available.

Account Status for Current Pay As You Go Offers

If you are enrolled in one of the Current Pay As You Go offers described above, your account will remain active (the "Active Period") for 90 days after you Top-Up at least $20 ($15 if you select the $15 Auto Top-Up option),

Well, now you know how to save a couple more bucks.
