In this area of NC, if you get more than one or two miles from an interstate or other MAJOR highway you get no signal, or if you have a tri mode phone (do they still sell those?) you will get switched over to analog.

I lost 3G a few miles to the west of Winston-Salem and didn't get it back until Knoxville. When I had Verizon I had EVDO almost the whole way. Pathetic. |
