| time to raise h*ll... Time for companies like google, yahoo, and microsoft to stand up to the telecoms and cable companies.
Here is an idea. Have a day or two of silence. I would love to see google, yahoo, microsoft and others block all of its sites and services to all of the isp's that want them to pay more, charge them extra, or want to restrict them.
At&t/comcast don't like youtube or google.com? Let's see them get calls all day about google blocking them with just a page tellling the issue. If millions of people can't access youtube with google telling them the telecoms demands, it would raise the awareness. A little extreme, but who knows. Mary smith or middle america would find out of the issue and might change her provider or make changes to her services. Hurt them where it hurts.

While I sit on the bench with my 2g iphone and eat crap like this one and blocking apps using none-SDK functions until anderoid matures enough and app base grows for me to switch. |
