Now this.....

This is the one occasion that really pisses me off.

If they don't open it up on the app store, I'm dropping the iPhone as soon as my contract is up.

I don't see how AT&T is involved, though. There is more than one carrier with the iPhone. This just comes across as quite biased towards AT&T given the fact that Apple is the sole controller of the App Store. If Verizon had the iPhone, Apple would have denied the App as well.

You should just get an Android device where all apps are welcome, even if they have nudity or are by Google.

This step by Apple just affirms Google's stance that all apps will be web-based instead of something like what Apple does.

I plan to, but I don't like T-Mobile.

Re: Now this.....

Well, you don't like Apple/AT&T, T-Mobile.

Verizon cripples.

Sprint is left for you.

Yeah, it depends what kind of device is available and if Sprint's customer service has improved.

Didn't they pull a tethering app?

Re: Now this.....

Ok, but it's clearly transparent why it was pulled; it interfered with T-Mobile's ToS.

With this GV app deletion, nobody is explaining anything officially.
