| Virgin/Sprint vs ATT.... Virgin/Sprint FTW!!! I've been with Virgin since about 2004, and right after I signed up with them, I went down to Florida with the Red Cross on hurricane assistance. As a Red Cross volunteer I was assigned a donated Cingular/ATT phone, which, very frequently, got calls dropped and no-serv in many areas I had to frequent, which was the Tampa/Bradenton/Port Charlotte area on the west coast. Whereas, my personal phone, on VirginMobile/Sprint, worked swimmingly pretty much everywhere I went. Now up to today, I work in a large building and if I have to go down to the server room in the basement, my company assigned ATT cellphone shows no-service, but my personal Virgin phone works just fine.... Funny part about it, as far as I can tell, there is an ATT "palm tree" just outside our office complex.. I have no idea where the nearest Sprint node is at... |
