Re: IPCS? That Nextel network you want them to sell is making a killing for them in the Boost Mobile market. Last quarter Boost Mobile heavily offset the loss of subscriber from Sprint's CDMA network.
said by acadiel:So explain why they buy out Virgin Mobile but they can't buy out iPCS and get rid of the lawsuits and legal issues they're in over the Nextel network in iPCS territory? So Sprint's Corporate is going to own a Prepaid Carrier that provides service in iPCS territory using iPCS's network? Is iPCS going to cause a stink over this? They sure caused a stink over Boost and Nextel being owned by Sprint and operating in their territory (Sprint I believe has until the end of the year to sell the Nextel network.) |

 | No sprint has till jan 31 2010 to sell the nextel towers in iPCS land or shut them down and this goes for boost mobile also.
Sprint does not have a billion laying around to buy iPCS and prob never will. iPCS makes money sprint loses money. |

 | Don't count on sprint selling those Nextel towers. They can easily create a "new" company and sell the towers to them. and still have everything.
Sprint won't give up their cash cow that easy. |
