Re: $483M = 0% increased coverage area? Its a risky move, prepaid customers are notorious for churn, which is the bane of the wireless world. What this acquisition says to me is that Hesse and Sprint believe the economy is going to be in the tank for a while, and that price, not necessarily new features, is going to be the growth driver for quite a while. | It's all a matter of time until Sprint-Nextel annouce the buy out of Leap/Cricket or even MetroPCS or in Ohio- Revol.
It's also a matter of time before they do the flat rate option all together, just like Boost.
Hesse has a business plan in store for Sprint and we're only starting to see the start of it.
Next step for Sprint-Nextel- total flate rate? no contracts? Maybe. It sure would give ATT and VZ a run for their money. |
